Core Measurement Dimensions and Requirements
1. Height: Measure the vertical distance from the top of the head to the sole of the foot while standing barefoot, accurate to 1cm. It serves as the basic size reference.
2. Chest Circumference: Wrap the measuring tape horizontally around the fullest part of the chest. The tightness should allow inserting 1-2 fingers without compressing the chest.
3. Waist Circumference: Measure horizontally around the narrowest part of the waist (or 2cm above the navel) while maintaining a natural breathing state, avoiding being too tight or too loose.
4. Hip Circumference: Wrap the tape horizontally around the widest part of the hips, covering the complete contour of the hips to ensure no restriction during movement.
5. Pant Length: Measure vertically from the waist measurement point down to the ankle (or adjust to the appropriate length according to work needs), preventing excessive length from dragging or insufficient length from exposing the skin.
6. Shoulder Width: Measure the straight-line distance from the outer end of the left shoulder blade to the outer end of the right shoulder blade, which directly affects the fit of the upper garment's shoulders.
Measurement Notes
- Wear light and close-fitting clothing during measurement to avoid heavy clothing affecting data accuracy.
- Use a soft tape measure, keeping it horizontal with consistent
tightness—do not stretch or loosen the tape.
- For coveralls, additionally measure the sleeve length (from the
shoulder endpoint to the wrist) to ensure unobstructed arm
movement.
- For special body types (such as obese or tall builds), increase the
ease allowance for chest and waist circumference, or choose
custom sizes.
